Doggie Daycare
Dogs are just as social as we are, and need exercise and socialization for their health and happiness. At Walks and Wags, we help you incorporate these things into your home life, working together to ensure your pup lives a fantastic life. Come once a week, several days a week, or even the whole week! We are also a full-service day care and boarding facility taking care of your pet while you're away. Dogs are fully supervised at all times in various yards and kennels throughout the day, and get to play outside with others depending on the weather; by professionals who love nothing more than taking care of your 4-legged friends. To apply for enrollment at Walks and Wags Dog Daycare, please work through the following checklist; then, print, complete, and return the
Play Care Application:
- Vaccinations Requirement. Please provide a copy of your dog's record of vaccinations and fecal test from your vet. All dogs must have a current record of vaccinations on file with Walks and Wags. This includes:
- bordatella (kennel cough),
- DHPP (distemper, Hepatitis, Para influenza, Parvovirus)
- rabies at 6 months
- Age Requirement. Your dog must be age 16 weeks or older
- Birth Control Requirement. All dogs must be spayed or neutered over 6 months of age (some exceptions)
- Health Requirements. All dogs must be in good health and have not been ill with a communicable condition in the last 30 days. Dogs that have been ill with a communicable condition in the last 30 days will require a veterinarian's certification of health to be admitted or re-admitted to Play Care. On admission or readmission, all dogs must be free from any condition that could potentially jeopardize other guests.
- Negative Fecal Test is required. This is a requirement of Walks and Wags, not your vets, If your dogs shot records are current, you do not need to bring your dog to a vet to obtain. Just simply bring a fresh sample of your dogs poop to your vet and ask them to perform a fecal test on the sample. Please ask for the results to be printed on your receipt or they may call our office with the results. 251-643-1615

Behavioral Requirement. All dogs must be non-aggressive towards dogs and humans. We conduct a simple temperament test at your consultation. Private training arrangements are available if you need help improving your dog's behavior.
- Tuition/Fees. For daycare two times or more a week, $25 per day.
For daycare once a week $28 per day.
All tuitions are due in advance, on a monthly basis.

Dog may come once a week, (minimum Play Care commitment) or as many as five days, if openings are available.
Cancellations
Cancellations with less than 24-hour advanced notice will be charged the full fees.
